Hand sewn cushion cover made from a piece of William Morris,. linen which has been piped in a matching pink cotton. Originally designed by Morris as a furnishing fabric in 1883, Rose was widely used in the drawing room of Sir Emery Walker, the noted typographer & friend of Morris. Rose re-enters the Morris & Co. range for the first time in many years exclusively for the Emery Walker's House collection. ( quote from the Morris & Co website ). All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength. It has a concealed zip under the piping at the bottom for ease of opening. As this design is made to order you can either have natural beige linen on the reverse or choose from a selection of velvets. Please use the dropdown menu to make your choice. Thank you.
