A self-sustaining ecosystem is formed via the layers of LECA, charcoal & substrate. Though, we always provide care instructions so you can be sure. Because the terrariums are fragile, we ship them packed with tissue paper. You'll need to remove the tissue paper. The plants & moss may arrive a little compressed, but they will spring back up.
