Hand sewn cushion cover made from a piece of William Morris,. velvet which has been self piped. This truly stunning design, one of Morris's finest, was inspired by an original tapestry drawn by William Morris, Philip Webb & J.H. Dearle in 1887. The cushion is piped in a matching bottle green cotton & you can choose from several options for the reverse. Either natural beige linen or a choice of different coloured velvets. It looks particularly stunning with mustard yellow / gold or dark teal velvet but you may prefer a contrasting colour such as black which looks equally good. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength. It has a concealed zip under the piping on the reverse for ease of opening. Due to the large scale motifs in this design every cover will have a slightly different placement. DRY CLEAN ONLY DO NOT ALLOW THE VELVET TO GET DAMP. IT DOESN'T LIKE MOISTURE & WILL STAIN.
