The blanket can be rolled up to be stored away or easily carried about discreetly in a handbag. It has been shown that providing appropriate activities & stimulation for people with dementia helps to reduce agitation & anxiety & gives the person a sense of purpose. Repetitive movements, such as moving the beads up & down the cord can provide satisfaction & contentment. The cushion is constructed from a mix of fabrics with a vintage needle craft theme, which many older people will be familiar with & be comforted by. The embellishments are bright, attractive & fun!
