WALL FIXINGS/BRACKETS All shelves are pre-drilled & supplied with super strong, hardened steel, masonry wall brackets that are capable of holding approx 20KG in weight when correctly installed into a brick/stone wall. However this is dependant on correct installation & wall condition... if you are unsure, please consult a competent DIYer / Professional Tradesperson. Please note these are not suitable for use with plasterboard walls. The brackets can also be used to install the shelf into wooden studwork. However we would suggest the maximum weight placed on the shelf should be significantly reduced due to limitation in wall strength. If unsure, please consult a competent DIYer / Professional Tradesperson. REDWOOD All our products are made from the Finest Kiln Dried Joinery Grade Redwood. This may not sound very interesting but it is super important for several reasons but to summarise; it is stronger, will last longer & will be subject to less movement over time due to the lower moisture content then standard Pine. However, please also be aware that real wood is a natural live product that will have its own unique characteristics (eg knots, grain pattern, natural splits, twists & bows etc).
