Handmade in our own workshop in Hampshire, we have used a reproduction 1960s style European Apple Crate in to a very attract piece for the home. The boxes are painted & then, using a side panel from another box, we have sanded this down & gently gone over the wood with a blow torch to bring out the beautiful texture of the wood before adding it to the centre of the crate to make a practical box which can be used for all manner of storage & decor solutions around the home. These are also very popular in shops to display their products on. All of these are sanded down prior to painting to ensure a smooth clean finish.
