Our letters are made from a high grade 2mm thick steel, which we then put through a rusting process to give them an aged appearance before we coat them in gold to finish. Each letter has a slightly different & individual finish giving them a more authentic & aged patina. Our metal items are very versatile & will age according to the environment they are in. They can easily given a coat of everyday varnish to preserve their current patina or just simply left as they are. It all really depends on the look you are after. They can also be given a quick spray paint or paint if a change of colour is required. For mounting, we recommend the following; You can use a good adhesive, weight appropriate Command Strips ( sticky pads), hang on a hook or drill straight through & secure with a screw for a more permanent fixing.
