There is no risk of breakage, because the lamp is extremely protected, floating in foam in a package which is in turn floating in another package. ????MY RAKU CERAMICS WORKSHOP in my ceramic laboratory, in addition to the creation of works, I carry out continuous experimentation on glaze recipes, manufacturing techniques, chromatic effects, & post-firing processes, with a scientific & rational approach. The goal is to gain greater control over the technique, broaden the spectrum of creative possibilities, & maintain enthusiasm & fun day after day. Every piece in my shop is designed, made, finalized & packaged by me, including the glazes (all lead-free). The creation of a piece takes around 3 weeks, in summer it is faster because the drying is faster. ????RAKU CERAMICS RAKU Ceramics is a fascinating & exciting technique! It has its origins in 16th century Japan & continues to enchant, excite & amaze me, day after day. Its charm lies in the moment I take the incandescent object out of the oven (1000 oC/1832 oF) & set it on fire. It's a very delicate moment, in which I remain in suspense, because in these few minutes my every action transforms the nail polish & can distort the final chromatic result. This is why each piece is unique & unrepeatable. The open flame is used to create the decorative effects typical of Raku, such as the metallic lusters on the enamels in which the color fades from copper to purple to blue & green, & the crackles which are an imaginative network of black marks that cover the surface of the enamel. Raku ceramics differ from traditional ceramics mainly due to this last cooking phase which takes place in an open flame, where fire, smoke, water, oxygen or oxygen deprivation come into play to create unique & unrepeatable chromatic effects. ????CUSTOMIZED OR CUSTOMIZED PIECES I also create tailor-made objects to give substance to anyone's imagination. ????CONTACT ME ????
