John Lewis Hidcote Cotton Velvet Quilt

The Hidcote print is a late nineteenth-century floral pattern from the John Lewis Partnership Archives. The print reverses to a rich cotton velvet, with quilting that has been hand guided on a machine as skilled artisans take time to perfect each piece. Woven from cotton the velvet is a soft and luxurious fabric with a distinctive texture. It is characterised by a dense, cut pile that creates a plush feel with a subtle sheen.
