Our nightstand is built from solid White Oak It features tapered legs & drawer with carved round-outs or black metal knobs. The same piece of oak wraps around the entire piece for a consistent color. Boards joined with a 45 degree miter. I use traditional hand cut dovetails for the drawer joinery which creates a very strong drawer & the dovetail joinery looks amazing with the contrasting maple drawer sides. Each piece is finished with several coats of Danish Oil for a beautiful satin feel & appearance. Super easy to install: legs simply need to be screwed in.
