That is the protective transfer paper we apply, & some creases are normal. This paper is removed in the application process revealing your high-quality decal underneath. How to apply your vinyl decal. Step 1. Completely clean & dry the desired application surface. Step 2. Squeegee over the sticker, to ensure the clear application tape has a good bond of the vinyl & will lift the decal sticker off when you go to peel it from the backing paper. Step 3. Carefully remove the application tape at a sharp angle slowly, as you do this the decal sticker should come off with the application tape, if you have any issues lifting the vinyl with the application tape, repeat step 2 until it comes up easily. Step 4. Align the decal sticker & press it onto the desired surface. Firmly run a credit card across the transfer/application tape to make sure the decal adheres to the surface. Do this slowly to avoid air bubbles. Step 5. Remove the transfer tape slowly & the decal is now complete.
