It has a beautiful lustrous sheen when it catches the light & makes for a very special gift indeed. The translucent silk is carefully bonded to a fine paper backing to provide stability to the print. - Framing is included as standard. Frames are available in a variety of profiles & finishes (see listing images for details). CUSTOMISATION: - Choose from 8 watercolour world map colourways. Other colours are available in other listings (or if you have something specific in mind please get in touch). - A title or wanderlust quotation can be added above the map in your chosen font pairing (please confirm details at checkout). The default font is combo 2 with the wording 'Life is a journey best travelled (or traveled in US English) together'. - Below the map there is space for up to 3 short lines of text, e.g. names, dates, Happy 12th Anniversary etc. - Heart markers & place name labels are marked in your chosen colours styles. TIPS ON SELECTING LOCATIONS: - There is no 'upper limit' on the number of heart markers; I will fit as many locations as I can within the available space. - I may need to be 'group' some locations into states, regions or countries if they are too close together at world scale. For example, the US measures only 3.5cm across & the UK is 0.8cm high. I'm happy to suggest groupings for you based on your list of locations. - With smaller countries such as the UK & in Europe, there may only be space for 1 or 2 markers otherwise the outline shape of the country may be obscured. - Don't worry if you are unsure what will fit - simply provide a list of locations with your order & I will work my magic. - A digital proof is always provided for your sign-off so you will always have the final say on the locations marked!
