This handmade nursery wall hanging features a hot air balloon floating among soft clouds. It is a handwoven fiber art tapestry that combines traditional weaving & punch needle techniques to create a soft, textured textile wall art piece for a cozy nursery. The background & clouds are woven by hand, with the clouds made from natural merino wool yarn, while the hot air balloon is crafted from soft cotton yarn using the punch needle technique. The result is a lightweight wall decoration with rich three-dimensional texture & a modern color palette. The tapestry is designed for nursery decorating & looks equally beautiful in a baby's room, kids' room, playroom, bedroom, or living room. This design grew from the ideas behind my Clouds Tapestry, one of the most loved pieces in my shop. Each piece is woven by hand on a loom, carefully removed from the loom, finished by hand, & mounted on a natural beech wood dowel.
