This is a black frame intricately hand engraved with your personal cat, on the glass so the frame is the artwork itself. The backing is a black background (which means you can see the engraving easier) with a white mount to break up the black. Each engraving is an original work of art, uniquely engraved so each one will differ ever so slightly from this picture. Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve deep into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. All packaging i.e boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) & therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes. After something a little different?
