Who says you have to be married to have a vase with your names on it? This vase is similar to the wedding vase except it has no date (date can be inscribed on the bottom for $2 extra). Each 8-1/2-9 vase is personalized with the couple's first names. First, the vase is hand thrown on the wheel & the names are etched into the clay. Later, when the clay is at the perfect consistency, the names are painstakingly hand carved out of the clay. I like how the names really pop because the other side of the vase is not carved & provides a backdrop for the lettering.
