This is a decorative heart wall mirror, made from Devon driftwood. I collect the driftwood from the beaches of Sidmouth, Devon where I live. I then wash it, & let it dry naturally. The driftwood is glued together to produce an intricate lattice effect, & I build it up in layers to produce a substantial piece. I give the wood a few coats of varnish to protect, & bring out the natural colour of the wood. The mirror itself is upcycled, & made from glass. This is a nice quality, heavy piece, that is securely strung on the back, so ready to hang. A stunning addition to any room. Each item I make is unique, & you will receive the piece that is pictured. This is a larger sized work of mine, measuring 56cm (22 in.) from top to bottom, & 60cm (23 1/2 in.) wide in total. The depth is 7cm (2 3/4 in.)
