DESCRIPTION This pendant light fixture is made of Red Gum wood veneer. When the light penetrates the veneer, its colors & the details in the shapes that nature has artfully given to it, are emphasized. The linear design, the minimalist form with the gentle curves make it suitable for any interior space, ideal for dining tables while the warm & its soft light create a cozy atmosphere & a sense of tranquility. Its simplicity, enables it to blend in with many different decoration styles & to fit in both home as well as work environments. MATERIALS Our main material is veneer. The interaction of wood grain & the effect of lighting is the reason why we choose this unique material. We then adjust the correct dimensions according to the grain of the wood & ensure the durability of our products by gluing two layers of veneer. The rippling of the veneer in the lamp, it is a natural phenomenon that occurs during the drying process of veneer after the log is cut into veneer sheets. It is presented in veneers that comes from hardwoods with intense woodgrains, due to the opposite directions of the wood fibers, like these we use in our lights (Red Gum, Zebrano) & there is no problem with their durability. We responsibly choose our suppliers for veneer. Specifically we supplied by the Danzer.com company who is verified by FSC (forest stewardship council). Its partner in Greece & our local supplier is the company Woodplus.gr Please note that the veneer of the lamp you will receive may differ slightly from the one in the photo, due to the unique pattern of the woodgrain. If you want we can send you a photo of the veneer that we will use for your lamp. The wax based varnish coating we use provides protection from dust & humidity, accenting the wood grain. All the electric components are CE certified & are available at both: USA/Canada 110V & UK/Europe/Australia 220V-240V. For the light fixtures with length 102 cm. & 122cm. we send you two adapters with two bulbs output each, to use four bulbs so that there is a better distribution of light. All our light fixtures can be dimmable, if you install dimmable LED bulbs & use compatible dimmer. We highly recommend led bulbs (not included). Fabric covered cable 1 meter - 40in, & metal ceiling canopy are included. We mainly send a black cable & black canopy. (if you need more cable or another colour from both contact us) At the bottom of the luminaire we place a pale white plexiglass (3mm thin) for better diffusion of light.
