Color variations are unfortunately possible depending on the image display & transmission method. Furthermore, each batch of terrazzo chips is cast by hand, so color variations may occur. This increases the likelihood of a better color match! :) Jesmonite is a water-based, solvent-free, & environmentally friendly acrylic resin. Similar to concrete, Jesmonite is mixed with two components. The Jesmonite is then poured into molds, where it reacts & hardens. Jesmonite is a very strong, durable material that doesn't break easily. However, there's no guarantee that it won't break if dropped, for example. Jesmonite isn't waterproof, but a wax seal makes it water & dirt repellent. You can clean your item with a damp cloth & mild soap. Using harsh cleaners or scrubbing vigorously will damage the surface. I also recommend wiping off heavy soiling like wine or coffee as soon as possible. If stubborn dirt can't be removed, the surface can be sanded down with gentle sandpaper & resealed. You can use wax or coconut oil for this at home. The products are not dishwasher or microwave safe. Furthermore, they should not be used outdoors. Each piece is handcrafted, sanded, & sealed by me, & the resulting pattern, along with its small imperfections, makes it unique.
