The price reflects the process of weeks of hand carding, handspinning, hand dyeing, warping, handweaving, & all the finishing work, & all the beautiful fibers spun through it to create this one of a kind piece. I have hand stitched the natural feather pillow filler on my grandmother's hand turned vintage sewing machine, from special featherproof cotton fabric. The handwoven cover is hand stitched all the way around so the pillow filler is not removable.
