I so love this delicate porcelain lampshade! It reminds me of a flower head. I have made the slightest flare out at the bottom, & the carving which goes all around reminds me of petals. This shade is made from finest white porcelain which is naturally translucent, the perfect material for a lampshade. It has been hand carved to get the striations, & as you can see from the pictures they show up beautifully when lit from inside. The inside is plain, which reflects the light down, & gives a wonderful contrast to the textured outer side. The pieces is completely unglazed, give a very modern matte look to it. If needed the shade can we washed in warm soapy water. It measures 10 (25cm) diameter & is 3.25 (8.5cm) deep. It is a 40 watt bulb (460) lumens in this picture, but 60 watts is fine for this shade.
