A safe haven for abandoned articles & wayward wood. These former scaffold boards have lived a laborious life. They have now been refurbished, repurposed, & ready to be re-homed! These are your British standard 3.8cm x 22.5cm scaffold boards. Handcrafted to the size & finish you desire. We ensure suitable, solid boards are selected. They are then hand cut, planed & thoroughly sanded. Ensuring each board is level, clean & smooth, whilst retaining signs of its past life. A couple coatings of quality wax help enhance their features, at the same time nourishing & protecting the wood. We can cut to any size or depth you like, including mitre cuts for corner shelves. Just get in touch! We currently offer a clear beeswax, antique pine, or dark oak wax finish. If you have a different colour or finish in mind, please get in touch. We also offer sanded unfinished boards, which you can then apply whichever finish you prefer. Ideal for any DIY projects. Each board is unique. Nail holes, dents, splits, saw scars. Traits that give each piece character. These are not lightweight flatpack shelves. They're built to hold real weight & look great doing it. Ideal for that rustic kitchen look. Due to the nature & past of the boards, colour & size can vary ever so slightly. There is the option to add black, up style, steel brackets to your shelf order. When selecting a finish + brackets, a pair of brackets will be included. Each bracket is made from 5mm thick steel & comes with screws & quality wall plugs. Suitable for all wall types, including plasterboard. We try to reuse & repurpose as much as we can within the workshop including the cardboard packaging we use to securely package your shelves.
