Handmade solid European OaK rectangular bench with double dowel shelf finished in Osmo Polyx to give a natural & durable finish. The tables are inspired by the clean simple lines of Scandinavian design & simple functionality. Each piece is handmade myself to order, they hand planed & smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. the bench has visible hand cut tenons with contrasting mahogany wedges used to secure the legs & dowels shelf into position. European Oak is a very strong timber with a honeyed golden brown colour. It is known for its strength, durability & beautiful grain patterns, knots & swirls. benches are 30cm deep as standard but can be made to any depth required. if you require a custom size please contact me with your requirements.
