RESPONSIBLY SOURCED TIMBER Handcrafting solid wood furniture everyday, I'm only too aware of the responsibility & the potential environmental impact if our timbers are not sustainably sourced. The beautiful timbers we use are grown in sustainably managed forests that have certifications from the FSC & PEFC governing bodies. FSC is the Forest Stewardship Council, & the PEFC is the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. Both are international, non-profit, non-governmental organisations which promote sustainable forest management. As a furniture manufacturer & retailer I work with our suppliers to ensure the timbers have the appropriate certifications, & that I am responsibly sourcing our timbers from well-managed forests.
