Ocean wave lamp is a deep blue green porcelain lamp. Wave designs are carved by hand through the layer of colour to reveal the pure porcelain white colour. The designs are striking when lit & the lamp gives a warm diffused light. Ideal bedside lighting & contemporary wall lights in a living space or to brighten a hallway. Slip cast in porcelain clay & fired without a glaze to give a natural matt clay finish, the lamps are tactile & organic. Despite their delicate eggshell appearance they are very strong due to the natural strength of porcelain ceramic & its high firing temperature. There is natural variation in the clay which when lit gives an organic glow & describes the clay texture & hand crafted process used to make them as well making every one unique! Porcelain is a unique & special material as when it is thin the light shines through it, making it perfect for lighting as it gives a beautifully warm, diffused, soft light. Lamp size is 13cm x 13cm. Includes 3m woven fabric cord, nickel E14 bulb holder & Tala Sphere bulb & UK plug. Please specify your preferred cord colour at the basket when ordering, see pictured selection. A choice of woven decorative electrical cord is given as an option, please see photos to help with your selection.
