Jugoik Table Lamp is a distinctive piece that adds a touch of warmth & charm to any corner of your home. Each lamp is upcycled, crafted from repurposed glass lampshades of vintage chandeliers, offering a unique blend of sustainability & elegance. The freestanding lamps are made from glass shades of old chandeliers, which are often discarded during renovations. Two glass shades, which once belonged to different lamps, are carefully selected, reshaped by grinding, sandblasting & cutting, & combined into a brand new lamp. in this way, two pieces of glass, two stories & two sources of light seek balance in a common expression. The lamps establish a dialogue between the past & the future; between the different homes they come from with the new spaces in which they will be placed. Nina Savi is an architect, designer & founder of the brand Jugoik, which combines sustainability, reuse & contemporary design. Her design approach is based on combining reuse with crafts & innovative sustainable solutions. Among other events, Jugoik products were presented at Milan Design Week in 2024.
