For this quilt, I used scraps of silk that I collected, while making painted silk clothes. Strips of painted silk on top & larger pieces of painted silk on the backside. I painted Mt Rundle at the bottom part of the quilt. Mt Rundle is a long mountain & runs from Canmore to Banff in the Canadian Rockies. I have scrambled to each end of that mountain. The view is actually from a little bit higher than from our window, since we see only half of it. Fits on a queen bed. It has the hangers sewn on top for the gallery wall display, which can be removed if used on the bed. Dry clean.
