Hand-Blown Aqua Pineapple Glass Pendant Light - John Gibbons Custom Lighting

These hand-blown glass light pendants were created by rolling the clear molten glass through several colors of powdered white glass & then powdered blue glass. It is then blown into a bronze mold called a pineapple mold to give it the pattern of bubbles trapped in the glass. After it comes out of the mold another layer of molten clear glass is put on top of the bubble, & it is blown & shaped by hand with wet newspaper to become a perfectly shaped shade.
