The stated length and depth refer to the widest point of the outside of the roof rails, and the outside of the upright posts is approximately 300mm narrower on each side (600mm total). Post length is selectable as 2.4m or 2.7m; selecting 2.4m includes steel base plates, while 2.7m is supplied without base plates.
