Frame Specifications: The frame is 20mm wide by 16mm deep overall. It’s made from a high quality recycled polystyrene plastic which is recyclable, sustainable and modern framing material. You can’t tell the difference to a wooden counterpart in its finish.Which size? You can add your art without the need of a mount but check the size you require with the overall frame size and NOT the mount size. For example - if your artwork is 8x6 inches, you will either require a frame of 8x6 inches (no mount) or a frame 10x8 (overall size) with a mount for an 8x6 if you wish for a border.How to display? Supplied with a black clip for easy hanging. Due to the size of the frame this is only suitable for wall display and not possible to stand-up on a desk or sideboard. Which way can I hang it? Simply turn the frame around to hang in either landscape or portrait orientation. Hanging requires the black clip to be slid off and moved to the hanging side.Why a mount? a mount will allow the photograph not to touch the glass which could cause it to stick over time. Mounts also add to the appeal and decoration, often enhancing its appearance. The trade off is often the size of frame required is larger and therefore more expensive.How do I add my artwork or photograph? Simply lift the black flexible tabs on the reverse to remove the backboard, add your artwork and then reverse the process ensuring all the black tabs are placed downwards. If you wish for a mount in your frame we would recommend using an acid free tape to hold your artwork in place. You can use any tape you wish, but overtime an acid free based tape will reduce damage to your prints.
