Lagavulin 1997 whisky barrel stave wall sign, hand-finished by me in Scotland from a genuine Islay cask. Authentic reclaimed oak wall art & a rare gift for any whisky lover. This is a single, one-of-one piece, & I'll tell you exactly where it comes from. The stave is reclaimed oak from a Lagavulin cask filled in 1997 on the Isle of Islay the home of that famous, heavily peated dram. I rescued the wood once the cask's working life was over, then sanded, oiled & sealed it by hand in my workshop on the edge of the Scottish Highlands. The lettering LAGAVULIN, the 1997 vintage & cask number 3196 I burn into the oak myself using pyrography (wood burning).
