The Emma Sconce With its classic square backplate & thoughtful trim details, our Emma Sconce adds a pop of sweetness to any space. Handmade in our workshop studio from natural brass materials in a brushed brass finish that will naturally age to a brown tone patina over time. Add a lacquer sealer to the brushed finish to maintain the look of the newly cleaned brass (option adds $35 & must be custom ordered; please message to request). Pair it with the fabric shade of your choice to create your ideal look. The possibilities are endless! Works with fabric shades up to 8 in bottom diameter (custom larger sconce arm sizes are available if a larger shade is desired; please message for details). Pictured shade is 4 top diameter x 7 bottom diameter x 6 high. Mounting holes on the side of the backplate keep the face of the sconce simple. The Emma can be mounted in either upward orientation (as pictured) or downward for task type lighting. Fitted with an UNO socket, you can use with either a medium base bulb clip shade or UNO fitter shade (if using sconce as a task light with a downward facing mounting orientation, shade must be fitted with an UNO fitter that is mounted at the top of the shade). Electrical Options: Choose a hardwired version to be controlled at a wall switch, or a switch on the socket for a reading light. Don't have a wall junction? Add a 8 foot long vintage style cloth covered cord & plug into any wall outlet.
