I made this colourful umbrella & raindrop cover using free-motion applique. I guess you could say I was inspired by the weather here at the moment.... The background of the front is pure white linen. The raindrops are a mix of quality quilting cottons & new designer cottons. There is a blue button stitched on to the top of the yellow umbrella. The reverse is 100% cotton yellow, with white polka dots. It has an envelope closure so you can easily switch your cushions around. It is made to fit a 40cm / 16 square pillow (insert is not included). Due to the nature of the applique, it is recommended to wash the cover by hand, & dry flat. It can be ironed at a suitable temperature for cotton. The edges of the umbrella & rain drops are designed to slightly fray over time, a characteristic of free-motion applique. The inner seams are overlocked / serged for added strength & a professional finish. This item is ready to ship. You will receive the one shown in the 3rd, 4th & 5th photos (please note the fabrics are slightly different to the first one, no two cushions are ever the same!)
