This is a stylish & attractive ceramic mantel clock in an Art Deco inspired Scientist design. This clock has been hand glazed in our own Paris white glaze with hand decorated highlights of black & red. The hour & minute hands are metal & coloured black. This glaze just screams out 1920's Jazz Age & complements the geometric design of this time piece very well. The inspiration for this stylish Mantel Clock comes from the work of the Early 20th Century scientists. During 1925, the year of the Paris Exposition des Arts Decoratifs a German Physicist named Werner Heisenberg took the first steps in formulating Quantum Mechanics. The new theory would go on to replace Classical physics at the Atomic level & change fundamentally the way we view the world. This piece of individual ceramic art was handmade & designed by ourselves at our Echo of Deco Art Pottery in the UK.
