This is an original, layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, in your choice of color (this one is in all white layers), & featuring the details of the eight major islands of Hawaii, the 50th U.S. state. This unique piece is intricately cut from five layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. Each layer floats on top of the next using tiny adhesive foam squares. You may choose the shadowed monochromatic look of the piece pictured here, or choose any five colors for the layers of your piece. Because this piece is handmade, it will differ very slightly from piece pictured here. The back is titled, signed & dated as an original piece. The work measures 8 x 10 inches (about 20 x 25 cm), & is about 3/4 thick. It will be sent to you carefully wrapped & supported to ensure it arrives safely. This piece will likely require a deeper, shadowbox style frame to allow the layers to adequately float, & to give the piece enough breathing room from the glass, further enhancing the sense of depth in the piece.
