This 40 cm sq. zipped cushion cover was created to make a bold statement with a shabby - chic feel. Both the salt & the alcohol techniques are used to make beautiful & surprising effects which I feel complement each other very well. Abstract designs speak for themselves & sometimes require no explanation & I believe this is one of them because my application of shapes & colours was completely random - but I do know that I love the spontaneously different result which makes me feel happy too. I feel that this cover would particularly suit a young lady or couple who appreciate non - conventional forms of decor & design - i.e. abstract. The colour mix is quite unusual - blue, pink, reddish, ashy lilac & green- grey - & these colours & effects are continued over onto the back. The front has a rosette of shabby green- grey ribbon to give a sumptuous addition to this cover which I feel would look great in any room or conservatory. A wonderful Christmas gift.
