I used a wavy machine stitch diagonally across the blanket to keep the layers from billowing apart. This blanket has a double thickness binding which is hand stitched in place on the back side, in addition, the corners are mitered which leads to a professional finish. It may be machine washed & dried. It has been washed & dried, therefore is ready for use or gift giving. It measures approximately 31 x 42 inches. Personalization of a blanket is done free hand by machine on the back side of the quilt through both layers. The style or font can be seen on the last photo. Personalized blankets cannot be returned.
