You are looking at the bed cover/bedspread that was made by women from the southern tribes of Kyrgyzstan, mainly from Leilek & Batken districts. The bedspread features traditional patchwork patterns specific to the southern Kyrgyzstan. It is one of a kind & only one piece was made. The size is 90in by 74 in or 230 cm by 188 cm. It can surely fit full/queen size beds. Materials used are silk, viscose, cotton, cotton. Lining is 100% cotton. The bed cover is designed with 32 pineapple or kattama kurak quilt blocks assembled by hand in between the karkyra (flying crane) triangle blocks. Embellished with mother-of-pearl buttons. Dry clean only.
