My intention was to create a romantic, swirly design in contrasting colours, using the sun's heat to assist in producing a stunning, other - worldly effect. The result definitely resembles a mirage. I have used the salt & alcohol techniques to create texture & the idea of sand being swirled around. Fine ribbons & silver coloured metal accents add to the romantic feel.
