The map centers on the heart of Boston on the Shawmut Peninsula, surrounded by the Massachusetts Bay & the Charles River & extends to Bunker Hill & Charlestown & portions of East Boston, Seaport District & the Back Bay. The iconic pathways of Boston Common & Boston Public Garden, as well as pedestrian path around City Hall & Faneuil Hall are drawn & the gnarly web of highways has been modified to reflect the Big Dig, showing the tunneled roads in color, as opposed to white. This is a PRINT of my original watercolor paintings in tones of sepia brown / blue-grey or / teal & taupe.
