A organic sculptural feature pendant light handmade in pure white porcelain makes a statement as it glows warmly & translucent when lit. Choose a cluster arrangement of 3, 5, 8 or 12 droplets pendants & create a simple yet striking lighting feature. Light your open plan space, kitchen island, dining area or hallway & stairway space with beauty. A Droplet pendant provides ample ambient light as well as atmosphere & mood lighting to compliment every activity in your home interior. Droplets are hand cast in porcelain slip & polished to a smooth surface finish before glazing & firing. The lamp is then dipped into a shiny transparent glaze & catches the light, contrasting with the matt raw clay giving an organic tactile surface finish. Despite their delicate eggshell appearance they are very strong due to the natural strength of porcelain ceramic & its high firing temperature. There is natural variation in the clay which when lit gives an organic glow & describes the clay texture & hand crafted process used to make them as well making every one unique!
