Ceramic vase (unica) hand thrown & decorated with self developed glazes & natural oxides (copper, cobalt & rutile). Dimensions approx. 8(H) by 15(W) cm approx. 3,1(H) by 5,9(W) inch Process Thrown on the potter's wheel (about one pound of clay). After light drying (leather hard) & turning the lines were cut out. Fired for the first time (biscuit firing). Then glazed with a self-developed transparrent glossy glaze. Finally in about 14 hours fired to 1220 0C (2240 oF) in a gaskiln (reduction) & let cool slowly (to promote color development). By the reducing atmosphere in the kiln the copper red arose.
