'Silver Sliver over Luz Beach' Does this painting of Luz in the Algarve remind you of your last holiday? I painted this scene of Luz from the end of the beach, just as the sun was about to set. The sun was casting a bright white strip across the horizon, which made the sea sparkle like diamonds. Folk were prominading up & down the beach & the clouds were a stark contrast against the deep blue sky. I painted this in Acrylic & you can buy the piece within the suitcase in the photo above. It was part of an exhibition I put on named 'Paintings from my Suitcase' & I created this piece for the publicity. The scene shows me painting the scene as if I was there, with the sand & rocks, & even the tiny suitcase providing the illusion. You can also buy just the painting if you wish.
