Every seam is double-stitched for extra strength. They have a plain black envelope backing, which means that they can be easily removed for gentle washing. Cushion covers are filled with a non-woven polypropylene pad; this is made with non-allergenic fillings & fibres making it perfect for those who are allergic to feather or down-filled pads. The cushion & pad are 40cm x 40cm (16 x 16) square. A larger cushion (50cm x 50cm) is also available, as are empty covers without any filling.. I like my cushions to be nice & snug; for this reason each cover is cut to the correct size but sewn with a reasonable seam allowance which will let the cushion pad fit tightly inside. The edge of each piece of fabric is also serged for stability. Each cushion is handmade so size may vary by a few millimetres.
