What beautiful illustrations! These are super cute animal pictures, in gorgeous soft colours. Nostalgic & timeless, this paper garland will bring a smile to your face every time you look at it! I have made this paper garland from a lovely used book, The Tale of Jemima Puddleduck by Beatrix Potter which was originally published in the early 1900s. It would make a lovely gift for a baby shower, Christening or naming ceremony, or simply to decorate your own nursery, playroom or child's room. Alternatively, as so many people have fond memories of these characters, it would be the perfect gift for someone who appreciates the work of Beatrix Potter & just loves her characters. The garland is reversible with pictures on both sides in at least half of the flags, too! SPECIFICATION There are 9 different flags strung on about 6 feet (about 180 cm) of eco-friendly cotton bakers twine. Your bunting might have slightly different illustrations than the one pictured But they are all gorgeous! Each flag measures 3 1/2 (9 cm) across the top & 3 1/2 (9cm) to the point. If the flags were placed end to end the garland would measure 31.5 (about 79 cm) but the flags slide easily up & down the twine so you can space them out as you like and/or change the order on the twine. You can also flip the whole Jemima Puddle Duck paper garland over & use the other side, or turn some of the flags to get your favourite selection! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - The paper is of good quality & this means that the bunting can be taken down & stored & reused with confidence. - All my paper bunting/garlands have been upcycled from pre used & discarded books, card games, postcards, maps & other things that have beautiful illustrations. - As this is a handmade item repurposed from an old book, it may show small signs of age but this just adds to the charm. - The only thing you can't really do is use it outdoors as it would get damaged if it got wet. - & it's not a toy so should be kept out of reach of babies & small children.
