CARE INSTRUCTIONS: This decal is an indoor vinyl & depending on the environment, it is durable for 3 - 5 years. It can last longer if it is properly installed & cared for. Durability is always dependant on the environment & application. Our vinyl wall decals can be used on virtually any flat smooth surfaces, not just walls. The surface must be clean & dry. Always be gentle & careful during the installation process. Too much pressure & rubbing of the transfer paper may result in a high sticky residue. APPLICATION & PREPARATION: It is recommended that this product is tested before use. Especially test bond to Low or Zero VOC paints before application. Freshly painted surfaces must be thoroughly cured before application; allow three weeks to a month. If paint is not completely dry, vinyl decals may not adhere properly, or may lift paint off the wall when you decide to remove it. Please make sure the surface is clean & dry before applying decals. Do not install in temperatures too hot or too cold as this will effect the adhesiveness. The recommended wall texture for successful decal application & adhesion is SMOOTH properly primed, painted & cured drywall that has little or no surface variation. Glass, smooth metal, plastic, laminate, porcelain & other non-porous substrates are also acceptable. Direct sunlight or moisture may loosen the adhesive over time & compromise the product. Vinyl Decals may not stick to painted surfaces that have Teflon, silicone or similar additives to make them wash & wear. These paints have been designed for things not to stick to them to make them easy to clean. They will NOT adhere to oil-based paints, wet surfaces, heavily textured walls, sandy walls or fibrous materials such as fabric or canvas. It will not stick to rough or uneven surfaces like cinder block, brick or stucco. We suggest asking for a sample if you are not sure. We mail small square test samples for free.
