I stylized the flower in pinks & red against my periwinkle glaze because I love the contrast of warm & cool tones. The technique I use is called glaze trailing. I trail (draw) with glaze on the surface & each flower is drawn & then glazed & then the vase is fired up to 2200 degrees. That makes the surface raised (textured) permanent & dishwasher safe. The background color is periwinkle on white clay. The medium vase holds 24 oz (3 cups) of water & is 4.75 h x 3.75 w.
