This is a quaint wooden house, which I have painted with Anne Sloane paint. I have used the deco mache technique to apply the paper which has a vintage newspaper style background with a colourful bird & white tea rose design. Embellished with a wooden green butterfly & a Bee inspired piece of ribbon. The roof is painted in a soft shade of blue & then decorated with lace & topped with a small red wooden heart. Finished off with a wooden bead & jute twine, for a truly rustic decor. The back has just a wash of paint to enhance the weathered, rustic feel. Even though I have used a sealant best for indoor use only. Looks great hanging from shelves, french dresser or even a door handle. Would make a great new home or house warming gift.
