As a Blue Fairy Penguin, Wilhelm may be short, but he's never let his little legs slow him down! He loves to explore, & has been to every continent at least once. He's also something of an inventor, & loves to fly about the countryside in the hot air balloon he built himself. (It collapses down for travel, of course.) As soon as he's back home, Wilhelm always starts planning his next expedition. He plans to go to Ireland next, since Icarus has been telling him tales of the faeries there! Once Wilhelm works out a method of keeping his friend Beauregardthe gentleman fishcomfortable while they travel, the two of them plan to go together. As a true gentleman, however, Wilhelm is always aware that he represents his friends & colleagues wherever he goes. He does his best to learn local customs & rudimentary phrases in the dominant language so as to comport himself well.
