Handmade cushion cover showing Welsh words in blue on a white background. This is one of a number of Welsh themed cushion covers prompted by Fi's Sewing Room being based in rural Wales. The cover is approx 16 square & designed to fit an 18 cushion pad. I have used a 20 cushion pad in the photos as I prefer my cushions to be nice & plump. The front panel is a polyester blend featuring the Welsh words for Wales, rainbow, family, home, cuddle, sweetheart etc. The back panel is a cotton/linen blend in a plain natural colour. There is a zip about 3-4 inches from the bottom seam on the back panel for easy insertion & removal of the inner pad. This would be an ideal gift for that special someone - or perhaps for a Welsh relative who is hard to buy for Dry clean only.
