I think chickens are fascinating & these i have painted entirely from my own photos taken at a nearby open air museum. Now who thinks poppies are always red? well they're not as you can see from these poppies again taken from my own photos - this time i was at the Eden Project. I love using my own sources of reference & mixing & matching them. This cover would be great for anyone who loves beauty & nature or who collects chickens in various forms i.e. china, glass, fabric etc. Again, outlines & detailing are in pearly white & various shades of metallic gutta.
